Shin Hoo Yong Music Enterprise is a multi-disciplinary creative brand led by founder, Theo. It includes original music releases from Shin Hoo Yong, live performances, the one and only Theo’s Coffee Break Podcast, and live appearances at community events. Based in West Michigan, our mission is to inspire and uplift communities through storytelling, songwriting, and music.

This may be the lyric to a similar pop song, but it perfectly describes the career of Korean-American adoptee Shin Hoo Yong, an LGBTQ+ singer-songwriter set to become a new voice of this generation.
Adopted from South Korea, Shin Hoo Yong has dedicated his career as a self-funded, independent artist to create inclusive music that expresses his journey in his becoming. Named Top 5 Artists to watch in West Michigan by REVUE West Michigan magazine in 2021, this up and coming personality strives to empower others to use their voices so that together we can promote change and growth in our communities with his original music.
From music to podcasting, Theo’s Coffee Break started as a dream to blend coffee break conversations, connection, and community into something meaningful. Founded through passion and creativity, the idea was simple: to create a space where people could gather, share stories, and dive deeper into what makes us who we are.
